Description

A workshop to raise awareness around theories of effective question design to stimulate and check lower and higher order thinking for both formative and summative assessment. This interactive session is a mix of theory, application, software demonstration and hands on practice. Part two of a suite of four complementary sessions.

What are the benefits?

• Staff will be introduced to the theories of higher and lower order thinking in relation to effective question design.
• Staff will practise formulating questions that stimulate and check lower and higher order thinking.
• Staff will learn or refresh their knowledge of how to create formative assessments using Learnosity (Aula quizzes).
