Description

The Carbon Literacy course builds practical knowledge of climate change, carbon footprints, and the actions individuals and organisations can take to reduce emissions. It supports staff at Coventry University to make informed, measurable changes within their roles while also encouraging more sustainable choices in everyday personal life. The course aims to empower participants to contribute confidently to net-zero goals and create meaningful environmental impact both at work and beyond.

This is session one of three. Session two is a self guided online learning programme ( 2 hours). Session three is another online training session. To be fully carbon literate and gain accreditation, participants must complete a 2-hour self-reflection assignment. This will be further explained in the sessions.

What are the benefits?

Participants gain the knowledge and confidence to reduce carbon impacts in their role at Coventry University
