Description

This hands-on workshop will be led by Rachel Gering Hasthorpe, who teaches in the LEAP team at CU and has a particular interest in classroom management.

This interactive session will give us the opportunity to reflect on the challenges and opportunities of classroom management at Coventry. Whether you teach in small groups, lectures, or other formats, come and share what has worked for you, discuss what is not working at the moment, and explore some practical tips for tricky situations.

What are the benefits?

Help your teaching run more smoothly; avoid problematic learner behaviours before they start; help yourself have a more satisfying teaching experience, reduce conflicts and help your students feel happier and more productive in your sessions. No magic solutions, but some tools will be shared and there will be the opportunity for us to reflect together as colleagues.

Who should attend?

All teaching staff with an interest in/wish to work on classroom management
