This session will introduce colleagues to the Coventry University (CU) Group Academic Integrity procedure. Here we consider the definition of various types of academic misconduct and learn how these are dealt with at CU. CU documentation will be introduced with a brief explanation of how to use it.

What are the benefits?

Staff involved in marking assessment submissions will be more confident in engaging the academic misconduct process when suspicions are raised with submitted work.

Topics covered include:

The Academic Integrity process and procedure. How to report concerns. How decisions on academic integrity are made.

Who should attend?

Coventry University and Coventry University Group staff, who are involved in marking and new to the Academic Integrity process.
