Teaching colleagues from across the Group are invited to discuss a simple question with a wide range of possible answers: What makes a good teacher?

Whether you are new to teaching or an experienced educator, your views will be welcome as we come together to explore this theme. We are keen to attract colleagues from a range of disciplines to the session. We will keep in mind face-to-face as well as
online teaching, and the diversity of our student groups and class sizes.

This will be an interactive workshop, so come along prepared to collaborate with others as we consider what does (or does not!) make an effective teacher. The workshop will give you an opportunity to take a step back from your day to day work and reconsider the values and practices that underpin quality teaching, and have a genuine impact on students' learning.
