Description
This workshop will provide an introduction to: (i) What Padlet is, how to access it and share Padlets with your students. (ii) Different Padlet formats and examples of how to use them (iii) Discussion of how you could apply these ideas in your own teaching (iv) How to use different Padlet templates to make a range of synchronous and asynchronous teaching materials.
What are the benefits?
Checks on learning and providing regular opportunities for recall enables us to monitor and support learner progress, learner challenge, and to enhance our learners' long-term retention of knowledge. This session is for academic staff teaching on apprenticeship provision, and provides an overview of Padlet can be used to promote effective checks on learning and questioning strategies within your session delivery.
Topics covered include:
(i) What Padlet is, how to access it and share Padlets with your students (ii) Different Padlet formats and examples of how to use them. (iii)Discussion of how you could apply these ideas in your own teaching.
