Description

This event has been organised by the Academic Integrity Steering Group. It provides an opportunity for colleagues involved in academic conduct and integrity across the Coventry University Group to get together, share good practice, and find out more about changes to how we operate. The event will include new approaches to educational support for students, assessment design, guidance around the use of artificial intelligence tools and updates to Turnitin. Time will be afforded for conversations between colleagues, Q&A, and input to ideas for future developments.

What are the benefits?

The event has been organised to bring together individuals who play different roles in both operational and strategic decision-making relating to academic conduct and integrity. There is need for a consistent and effective approach to academic conduct and integrity policies and procedures across Coventry University Group, including measures for deterring, preventing and managing academic integrity breaches and educating staff and students about academic integrity. Those attending will have opportunities to learn and contribute to this agenda.

• Guidance for staff and students on student use of tools with artificial intelligence
• Setting the timeline for processes relating to academic conduct
