Description

The move away from traditional on-campus exams to online, time-constrained assessments (exams), requires rethinking not only the nature of the assessment task, but the pedagogy driving this move. We need to consider, similar to open book or take-home exams, the questions related to the nature of the task, assessment security, quality and consistency as well as support for both staff and students.
During this workshop, we will consider:
· Some of the key concerns we all have around moving to online, time-constrained assessment.
· Ensuring quality, consistency and validity through authentic design.
· The issues both staff and students may face.
