Description

The session will explore two key drivers in ensuring a positive assessment experience for both the tutor and the student. Achieving this is often related to how well student engage with feedback. We will therefore consider the nature and role of feedback; what is meant by “feedforward” feedback practices; and what makes for timely, accessible feedback.
In this interactive session, participants will:
• Have the opportunity to consider their current feedback practices
• Hear about student perspectives on needs and preferences with regards to getting and acting on feedback
• Start planning practices that may encourage greater engagement with feedback
