Description

The workshop will explore briefly the debate around the nature of academic integrity, and the university’s growing responsibility to be pro-active in promoting academic integrity and managing academic misconduct. The focus will be on supporting your students and rethinking assessment design.
During this workshop you will have opportunity to:
• Explore the difference between good academic practice, plagiarism and contract cheating.
• Consider the student voice when it comes to plagiarism and contract cheating, and what may help and what may hinder.
• Consider practices that may help your students to avoid academic misconduct.
• Consider practices that may make your assessment more robust.
