Description

An inclusive curriculum supported by inclusive teaching practices generates a sense of belonging in students and is a key component in student success and satisfaction. In this introductory session you will explore the concepts of inclusivity and sense of belonging and hear from students about the impact of an inclusive curriculum on their experience. You will reflect on what has helped you to feel a valued part of a group and explore a case study of an inclusive online community. During the webinar you will collaboratively generate ideas for immediate, small changes that you can make to your teaching practice, particularly when using Aula. This webinar will give you a good grounding in inclusivity and why it is important to students. You will leave with ideas that can be put into practice immediately.
