The focus of this workshop is CU’s directive for 75% of students to “pass first time” in their assessment. We will explore the practical implications of this target for teaching, assessment and feedback practices, and consider what we can do to maximise students’ chances of attaining a first-time pass.
•Explore factors which may promote (or limit) different students' ability to pass first time, at various levels of study.•Identify practical approaches which will support and encourage students to achieve this aim.•Understand related sources of support and guidance within the institution.
