Description
The focus of this course is on designing your teaching materials and activties so that they are as accessible as possible to your students. As we engage with students from an increasingly diverse range of backgrounds, including international students and disabled students, it is crucial to develop inclusive approaches to teaching in order to maximise their chances of success. Whilst there are many different ways to make your teaching more inclusive, developing an awareness of accessibility is an effective way to work towards this.
What are the benefits?
The course will enable you to explore some of the key principles of accessible learning design. You will identify small, practical changes you can make to positively impact on your students’ learning experiences.
