Description

This short workshop is intended for members of staff who have are, or are thinking of becoming evacuation personnel for their School, Faculty or Service. Evacuation Personnel include Fire Co-Ordinators, Sweepers and Door Guards.

To support staff in this role, the course will also provide basic information on fire precautions and arrangements.

What are the benefits?

The session will explain evacuation roles and describe what is expected of them.

Topics covered include:

* Fire precautions

* Use of fire extinguishers

* Fire evacuation procedures for:
* All staff
* Evacuation Co-ordinators
* Sweepers
* Door guards
* Evacuation of disabled persons
* Other types of evacuation

Who should attend?

All persons involved in evacuation procedures for their building, including evacuation co-ordinators, sweepers and door guards and also any persons considering such a role.
