Description
The day is opened by a member of the University Leadership Team who will share with you our mission statement, history and strategy to 2020. Following this, you'll meet several other key members of staff who will each discuss specific aspects of the Universities policy and procedures.
What are the benefits?
You will have the opportunity to gain an understanding of our history and strategy to 2020 so that you can see how your own role fits within this overall context.You will also have the opportunity to get a briefing on some of the key legislative and procedural requirements that apply to all staff along with information on who to contact for further support.Finally, you will learn how to access a range of Learning and Development activities as well as rewards and benefits that as staff members you will be able to use.

Who should attend?
All new staff should attend as soon as possible after joining the University. As a minimum, this should be within their first two months.
