For this book club we are reading the 'Block Teaching Essentials' book edited by John Weldon and Lorreta Konjarski. (https://doi.org/10.1007/978-981-97-7471-5)
The book is free to access online via Locate.

It is recommended that colleagues read the allocated chapter in advance of the meeting. However, if you haven't had a chance to read the chapter, you are still very much welcome as we would like to hear your experience and views on the subject.

- Wednesday 15th October 2025: main reading Chapter 6: Experiential Learning: On the Block the Classroom is Everywhere / optional reading Chapter 5: High Engagement Teaching on the Block
- Wednesday 19th November 2025: Chapter 11: Institutional Change and Administration on the Block
- Wednesday 17th December 2025: Chapter 1 What is the Block? and Chapter 2: Adopting the Block. History and Global Context
