The Active Learning CoP, continues for another academic year. For the first session of 2024-2025 we will have with us Matthew Danes, Assistant Professor/ Senior Teaching Fellow, from WMG, Warwick University to talk about innovative teaching strategies.

In his words, “Got a session that just doesn’t go down well? Something within your teaching need spicing up? Tired of serving up the same old, same old? Within teaching we are the not often the things the students want, but what they (educationally) need. We are the broccoli!
This light-hearted session scaffolds practical innovative teaching strategies around the techniques parents use to get children to eat their vegetables. Bring with you that troublesome topic, that pedagogic pain and let’s see, if together, we can find a way forward for you.”
