Description
This session will begin with an introduction to what Microsoft Copilot is and how to access it. We will then focus on how it can be used to develop higher level questions. This session will include practical activities where you can try the tool for yourself and discuss your initial experiences. We will also briefly discuss the strengths and weaknesses of using generative AI and how this should inform your use of tools such as Copilot.

Checks on learning and providing regular opportunities for recall enables us to monitor and support learner progress, learner challenge, and to enhance our learners' long-term retention of knowledge. This session is for academic staff teaching on apprenticeship provision, and provides an overview of Copilot can be used to promote effective checks on learning and questioning strategies within your session delivery.
