Description
The session will consist of a practical demonstration of the software, including which features are most suited to asking higher level questions, and will provide participants with time to experiment with its features. The session assumes no prior knowledge, and will cover both basic and advanced features.
What are the benefits?
Checks on learning and providing regular opportunities for recall enables us to monitor and support learner progress, learner challenge, and to enhance our learners' long-term retention of knowledge. This session is for academic staff teaching on apprenticeship provision, and provides an overview of how Mentimeter can be used to promote effective checks on learning and questioning strategies within your session delivery.
Topics covered include:
Mentimeter can be used by staff to engage their students during in-person, remote or hybrid teaching sessions to support a range of teaching scenarios. Staff can use Mentimeter to pose a range of questions types, which can be answered anonymously by students. Mentimeter is a piece of audience participation software, which has a full university licence and single-sign on.
