“The term “neurodiversity” incorporates a variety of conditions, such as dyslexia, dyspraxia and autism, embracing the variety in how different individuals’ brains work. This session explores the implications of neurodiversity for teaching practice in the current context. It explores the range of neurodiverse conditions, aiming to increase awareness and understanding. It seeks to identify practical steps which academics can take to support neurodiverse students, who may have varying degrees of recognition of their condition(s). The session will include case studies, which will provide attendees with some insights into the challenges and opportunities that neurodiverse conditions may bring
