Does your job require you to carry out general risk assessment?
To provide instruction on how to undertake a workplace Health & Safety risk assessment.
This workshop will not include risk assessment in relation to placements, fieldtrips, DSE or chemical risks. These are covered in separate sessions.

* An awareness of the relevant legislation and legal obligations

* Identification of health and safety hazards

* Methods of carrying out a workplace health & safety risk assessment

* Participation in risk assessment exercise

* An understanding of the principles of prevention and protection to reduce risks

Any member of staff with managerial or supervisory responsibilities.
